Culture Inspires Art
featuring First Nations, Métis and Inuit Artists

Art is a reflection of the very essence of who we are.  It tells our story, and it can reveal our true selves.  Art incorporates our personality, our history, our culture and our time.  No education could ever be complete without a study of the arts. It explains and ties together all curricula.  In this case, Indigenous Art is revealed through the generosity of four artists who have graciously shared their culture, their story, and their process so that we, as learners, can be inspired by their work.  This inspiration and engagement will lead to greater understanding of each culture, and hopefully, inspire the learner to create art.
