Care for God's Creation is one of the themes of Catholic Social Teaching. Biblically we have learned the metaphor of "You reap what you sow" (Galatian 6: 8-9). This applies both to the agrarian lifestyle but also to our morals and ethics. Pope Francis emphasizes this in Laudato Si. This is not only about the environment but it includes relationships as well.
Participate in an interactive "Breakfast With God" session which includes prayer, song, a story, and a craft, all centered around a Gospel message. You will be set to create and host your own event!
Learn how your school community can further celebrate student diversity and amplify student voice. Specific programs, clubs and committees will be explored including: Diverse Voices Committee, Student Council, Best Buddies Club, and the Grade 12 Equity and Social Justice (HSE4M) course.
Inspired by the wisdom of traditional iconography, the EOCCC icon cross reminds us that in times of real difficulty, Christ doesn't offer explanations, He simply offers himself. Gather around the cross with the artist to explore the spirituality and the disarming beauty at the heart of the icon cross.
