Each board has one voting representative sitting on the Board of Directors. Additional voting members include one representative from each of the Ontario Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association, the Ministry of Education and the Catholic Principals' Council of Ontario. The Executive Director of the EOCCC sits on the Board of Directors as a non-voting member.

Two working committees report to the Board of Directors: The Finance Committee and the Curriculum Committee. Each is chaired by a board representative from the Board of Directors.
