French
Second Language, Core
French Units: Junior
(Developed 2000) |
Junior |
French
Second Language is an
area requiring numerous
resources to assist
teachers in delivering
an adequate program
which meets the
requirements of the new
Ontario Curriculum. The
use of computers is
making this planning
process easier and more
complete. We are able to
plan a unit of study and
have it all-inclusive.
Although we encountered
problems with the
software, the Draft
Ontario Curriculum
Planner provided us with
an excellent template
with which to work. The
four units vary in
length and cover diverse
topics such as ma Marie,
ma Mere, Quel temps
fait-il?, Le hockey and
Les animaux. They target
students at the
Junior/Intermediate
levels. As with
anything, they can be
adapted to meet the
needs of various
students. |
